What major historical events do you remember?

The major historical event I recall is the formation of BRIC, consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, and China. It was largely driven by overpopulation, resource dilemmas, and the desire to challenge dominant financial powers.

These nations aimed to break free from the economic control of certain countries, opting to trade with one another using their own currencies. It felt like an overdue shift, as the world couldn’t allow dominant nations to continue imposing their influence forever.
