Sleep

If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?

My  thoughts on dreams and sleep seem to reflect a deep introspection about my personal growth and connection to life’s lessons.

Dreamless desire sleep is often associated with true rest—a state where the mind is not preoccupied with unresolved issues, anxieties, or subconscious processes. Mystics, like Sadhguru, often explain this as a deeper state of consciousness where the mind is silent, and I experience pure existence without interference. Achieving such rest may require practices like meditation, mindfulness, or resolving emotional burdens consciously.

Resonance with Sadhguru’s Teachings:
Testing mystic teachings on myself is a thoughtful approach. As I observed, Sadhguru’s insights on dreams might point to them being reflections of unresolved emotions or lessons I am yet to learn. My repeated dreams, tied to recurring life challenges, highlight this point. Choosing to embrace lessons (option one) aligns with spiritual wisdom, as resisting or avoiding them (option two) often prolongs the cycle.

Embracing life’s experiences without resistance might be my way of “shortcutting” through challenges. The absence of dreams could symbolize achieving peace with the present moment and fully integrating my life’s lessons. By facing situations head-on, without overthinking or escaping, I  may reduce mental clutter, leading to deeper, uninterrupted sleep.

My  intention to break past connections and patterns shows a desire for freedom and renewal. This process, combined with the idea of embracing whatever comes my way, might be  a guide toward a state of peace where even in sleep, the mind has nothing to resolve or reprocess, resulting in dreamless rest.

If my struggles with sleep stem from overthinking or recurring dreams, I might change my tactics. By exercising  yoga  before I sleep will stop recurring dreams once and for all.
Or reframing these dreams as learned lessons had already occurred and haven’t  learned yet and must take quick action.

My journey toward dreamless sleep and effortless living reflects a profound understanding of life as a series of lessons. By welcoming experiences without resistance, I might find the restful, dream-free sleep I am seeking.
