What colleges have you attended?
The college I attended emphasized caring for people, aligning with the values of the hospitality industry. It instilled the importance of job satisfaction and the dual responsibility of helping others internally and externally, often through charitable initiatives. During this journey, I came to understand the duality of life—the glamour at the front and the hard work behind the scenes.
The skills I learned there were essential for surviving and rising quickly in my career. However, once I completed my education, I realized that formal learning was just the beginning. The real lessons came from the school of common sense—making decisions, thinking quickly on the job, and approaching life rationally. People’s opinions often reflected in how I presented myself physically, but the college experience was more about personal development and the journey of discovering my next steps.
Through this process, working on myself and engaging with the Isha Foundation, I found self-realization and a deeper understanding of life.
