Memories.

If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

I have one power: the ability to not remain stuck in the past. I can let go of attachments to people and see them as they are, without holding on to memories of them, which I find to be a waste of time and a source of unnecessary suffering. Accepting and releasing the burden of the past was a journey I went through, and I succeeded.

I realized that people’s opinions about me and everything that happened to me were merely their experiences and perceptions. Their hatred, jealousy, enviousness and negativity contributed to the suffering I endured.

However, the best thing that ever happened to me was letting go of all that pain and those painful memories. By using positive affirmations, I was able to release those memories, and my mind feels much lighter now.

I have made a promise to myself: whenever I encounter something that feels off, I will face it directly rather than suppressing or avoiding it. I will heal quickly and move on because there is so much more I want to explore and learn within the short span of life.

My advice to everyone is to consider going through the Inner Engineering program by Sadhguru. Discovering myself through this process has given new meaning to the memories I’ve let go of for good.
