Last laugh

What makes you laugh?

This morning, I asked my sister to move the car so I could go to the temple for the Atmavasi prayers, as I wanted to pray for the whole family. She got up, still half-asleep, went downstairs, got into her car, and drove it out. I did the same but made sure to lock the entire house first before leaving.

As I was driving, I suddenly realized I had done something wrong. I made a U-turn and went back, only to find my sister—still half-asleep—standing outside, looking bewildered. She had just realized that I had locked her out of the house. Her expression said it all: Oh no, you locked me outside!

I handed her my house keys and the remote so she could get back inside. At that moment, I realized how much more alert I had become, and I truly believe that the exercises from the Isha Center are working. I must continue practicing them for as long as I breathe.

I laughed so hard that my whole body shook, my eyes watered, and I could barely make a sound through my uncontrollable laughter. Was that a joke in the morning or what?
