School critique

Describe something you learned in high school.

The school system in this country teaches you to obey without questioning. If I wanted to get ahead, then studying my way through was the only option for a better tomorrow. The system is designed to keep people ignorant and confused, while progress is reserved for the families of overseas politicians—those who received quality education abroad, funded by taxpayers’ money. This setup ensures the rest of the people remain stuck where they are, while the politicians’ families grow wealthier.

The wealthy are encouraged to migrate overseas and never look back, as the country of their birth has been ruined by politicians. The complicated school system provides no real-life skills, serving only the selfish interests of those in power. Advancement is based not on merit, but on connections and money. Even the idea of being a straight-A student is meaningless—just an illusion. In the end, these students settle for whatever comes their way, with nothing extraordinary ever happening in their lives.

School has taught me nothing except to obey without thinking and to work in a factory for the rest of my life. So, what has school really taught me?
