Are you a leader or a follower?

I am not a leader for others—I am a leader in healing my inner self. It is more important for me to cure myself than to lead others. Others may put their hopes in me, or perhaps they think they know me better than I know myself. In reality, I may have read books about being a leader and practiced many of the strategies they describe. But those changes only last for a while, and then I return to my old self.

If I were to become a follower, I would have to keep up with their practices without slacking in any way. That’s why I am neither a leader for others nor a follower of others. I just want to take care of myself and heal—becoming a leader within myself. That is more important than what others think of me.

So, am I a leader or a follower in this storyline?
