Describe your most memorable vacation.

The resort with slide

The most memorable vacations are always the ones planned by my mom. She’s a genius when it comes to budgeting and finding the best travel deals—she really knows all the travel hacks and gets the most value out of every trip.

One unforgettable vacation was our recent trip to the Maldives, where we stayed at the Sun Siyam Resort. Everything was taken care of—seaplane transfers, speedboat rides, full boarding—and I didn’t have to worry about food, lodging, or transportation. The entire resort was on its own private island, and every restaurant there required reservations. I believe the resort managed the guest count carefully so they could assign their staff efficiently across the dining areas.

There were various restaurants serving different cuisines—Spanish, Maldivian, Italian, American breakfasts, and many more. Our villa had its own slide that led straight into the ocean. At first, I was nervous and let my sister try it before me. But once I got used to it, I kept going back for more—sliding straight into the sea became the highlight of my stay.

The water was crystal clear, and you could see the reef perfectly beneath the surface. Activities like snorkeling, spa treatments, and other water sports were available at an extra cost, but the experience itself was already more than enough. It was such a cool and relaxing way to spend the holidays.

Still, the most memorable vacation of all was our trip to the United Kingdom in April 2024. We traveled from the north to the south of the country and back to London, covering so many cities and sights. It was a true travel adventure—packed with culture, history, and beautiful scenery.
