How do you plan your goals?

I drew the picture of the life I wanted. No colors, no decoration — just the shape of it.
I broke it into milestones, like stepping stones across a river.
I calculated the return for each stone — how much time, money, and energy it would cost, and what I would gain.
Some stones were too far or too small; I removed them and drew new ones.
I found the skills I lacked and learned them fast, using YouTube and online training, practicing right away.
I stepped onto the first stone and tracked my progress every week.
If the path didn’t lead where I thought, I redrew it. Again and again.
I didn’t stop until I reached the other side.
