The Pilgrim of Many Lives

Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

Once there lived a pilgrim who carried within them the memory of countless journeys across lifetimes. Though born in this age, their feet itched for the paths that led beyond ordinary travel — journeys that were more than sight-seeing, journeys that awakened forgotten truths.

One day, the pilgrim set sail to the islands of the Maldives. There, the world itself seemed to whisper, “Rest, all is cared for.” The sea carried no burdens, the air carried no worries, and life unfolded like a perfectly laid offering. Food appeared when needed, shelter awaited without demand, and play flowed as naturally as prayer. In those waters, the pilgrim felt what it meant to live in the ease of harmony — a life where nothing need be chased, for everything was already present.

Later, the pilgrim’s path bent toward the ancient lands of the United Kingdom. Unlike the still waters of the Maldives, here the soul was stirred by memory — of robes and staffs, of oak trees and sacred groves. Though no forests stood as before, the pilgrim rode buses, trains, ferries, and ships as if they were enchanted paths linking one realm to another. In every step, the spirit of the druid awoke within, reminding them: “Even in the modern world, your ancient soul walks with you.”

In both journeys, the pilgrim found not escape, but deeper prayer. Even in small corners — a quiet seat, a passing moment — their kriyas blossomed. For the pilgrim knew: travel was not just moving from land to land, but moving from life to life, unveiling hidden blessings.

And so, the pilgrim returned home with a heart full of gratitude. For the world had shown them that when one walks in faith, the universe itself becomes a companion, arranging each step, each meal, each boat, each breath. No shadow could disturb this path, for light had become their guide.
