Joyful or Misery

Name the professional athletes you respect the most and why.

Life is a winning or losing race. Either you try too hard and still lose, or you try so hard that you get stepped on. The pyre of shadows watches as I type, always eager to drag me down into their hell.

The past is gone, yet unfinished business continues to rise. I am done with shadows that pretend to be great, trying to pry into other people’s affairs. I wonder—why are they not gone yet? Perhaps they enjoy exposing weaknesses, making sure everyone sees them, while offering no chance for others to truly live.

Let them remain in their pyred negative past, pressed down into their own hell. As I type, I can feel the hot breath of their misery.

In the end, there are only two ways to live: joyfully or in misery. I choose joy.
