What aspects of your cultural heritage are you most proud of or interested in?

The aspect of cultural heritage is revealed in the third avatar of Maha Vishnu. Today, I witnessed how evil entities tried to cast their shadows upon me. They tried to lull me into sleep in front of the television. I could see the nieces of Rathe and Xandra casting their wind-sleeping spell upon my eyes. Yet, the moment I recognized it, I awakened immediately, gaining clarity of meaning.
They tried to disturb me further — the ceiling fan squeaked like an old rusted wheel, steaming smoke rose from the kettle, and mosquitoes came biting at my skin. These petty tricks reminded me of demons creating distractions. But I remained unmoved. They seek revenge, while I only offer love. I choose my cocoon of peace. They remain where they are, and I remain where I am. Their relationship has no hold over me. In their existence, I am nothing; yet within myself, I am everything — a flame of devotion.
This flame is eternal, burning in my heart with divinity. It is the same strength that Prahlad carried when he faced Holika and Hiranyakashipu, standing firm in truth while the world tried to silence him. Just as Narashima, the third avatar of Vishnu, lifted the Earth from the cosmic waters, I too must lift myself from the pull of these dark forces. The cultural heritage of these stories gives me courage, strength, and clarity to face misery and rise above it.
I also understand that bad habits feed these forces. By refusing to scratch my skin and create wounds, I deny them the pleasure they seek. The moment I declared this, the fan’s squeaking stopped — as if the universe itself confirmed that I had struck the right chord.
In this, I see my life as a living continuation of the cultural heritage of devotion, resilience, and victory over darkness.
