Neighbor

What makes a good neighbor?

A neighbor is someone who gets to know the people living next door or across the fence. They have their own work and life, yet they still take the time to check in and see how others are doing. A simple “good morning,” “hi,” or even just a warm smile can brighten the day. Some neighbors go beyond that — they visit one another, share stories, and even talk about their family histories. Sometimes, these connections feel stronger and more genuine than those with our own relatives.

What’s so great about neighbors is that they bring a sense of belonging. They look out for each other, offer help in times of need, and create a feeling of community. They remind us that kindness and care don’t have to come from blood relations — they can come from the people who live right beside us.
