What’s something you believe everyone should know.

I watched a video called The Light from Within, where a group of children gathered around a guru to give him a Diwali card. He smiled and began to explain the meaning of Diwali — the Festival of Lights — in the simplest way possible, so that even a child could understand.
He said, “The light you see from the lamp is not just fire. The real light lives within you.” His words touched me deeply. I understood that the lamp’s flame will fade when its oil runs out, but the light inside a person should never go out — no matter what happens around them.
Sometimes I feel surrounded by people of other faiths who try to influence me or make me change what I believe in. But my path is clear — I want to remain in my Hindu faith, because my heart seeks moksha, the freedom of the soul. That is my ultimate goal.
Writing is my way of keeping my inner lamp burning. It helps me release what I feel and understand what is happening in my world. I often watch inspiring videos and follow Sadhguru’s guidance through his app. When tears roll down my cheeks, they remind me that I am still alive, still growing, still holding on to my light.
Each time I light a Diwali lamp, I remind myself — the outer flame may burn out, but the inner flame must keep glowing. That light is my spirit, my strength, and my path toward liberation.
