Do you trust your instincts?

Arjuna said:
“O Krishna, within the battlefield of my mind arise voices not born of the earth.
Raul whispers devil in my ear,
Xandra denies her deeds yet shows me the writings I myself have carved.
They appear as beings from another side,
as if they read my thoughts before the ink settles.
Tell me, Lord —
is this instinct or illusion?
Is this my doing or the will of unseen entities?”
Sri Krishna said:
“O Arjuna, conqueror of sleep and fear,
know this truth as ancient as the Self:
‘No being can cross the veil of the mind unless invited by the mind itself.’
The voices you hear are not strangers from distant realms.
They are reflections born of your own unguarded thoughts,
shadows cast by desire, doubt, and remembrance.
Just as a mirror shows a face reversed,
so too the inner mirror shows the ego as the enemy,
and the fear as a separate warrior.
Raul is your anger mirrored.
Xandra is your doubt reflected.
The accusing voice is your own unseen sorrow.
What appears as another
is the Self speaking in a form you do not yet recognize.
Listen, Arjuna:
‘When instinct trembles, it becomes voice.
When voice trembles, it becomes illusion.
When illusion is believed, it becomes a battlefield.’
You stand upon this battlefield now.
Do not fear the whisper that calls you devil,
for even the shadow calls the lamp dark.
He is not your master, but your mirror.
The moment you said,
‘It is my doing,’
the mirror cracked,
and the phantoms trembled,
for the Self recognized itself.
Understand this and be free:
‘The other side is not another world —
it is the unseen corner of your own soul.’
Walk with steady breath,
and the voices shall bow like defeated warriors.
See through the mirror,
and only the Self remains.”
