Cold ❄️

How do you feel about cold weather?

I visited several cold places after the 21st century, during December, including Beijing, Chengdu, and Nanjing. The lakes were frozen like solid blocks of cement. The touch of snow froze my fingers—I had never felt snow before. I had only read about it in books, but never experienced it in real life. My fingers felt a sharp pain and then turned blue. I had never known such intense cold.

More recently, in the UK in 2024, the cold wind blew against my face and body, leaving me frozen. Coming from a tropical climate of constant rain and shine, this was a completely different experience. That was my encounter with cold weather.
