Activities

Which activities make you lose track of time?

One of the activities where I completely lose track of time is blogging. There’s something about painting thoughts into words that feels almost meditative. As I begin to shape sentences, I find myself drifting deeper into the rhythm of writing, as if the words know where to go before I do.

Learning a new language is another space where my mind becomes fully engaged. It’s not just about memorizing words—it’s the joy of decoding, the thrill of understanding. Sometimes, I practice with passengers who ride in my car. Other times, I simply listen, letting their conversations become a kind of music, pushing my mind to translate, to make sense, to grow.

Reading aloud has also become part of this quiet journey—it helps me remember, connect, and weave those words back into my writing. These simple acts—writing, listening, learning—pull me into the present moment, where time gently slips away.
