What is your favorite restaurant?

“You have a right to perform your duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions.” — Bhagavad Gita

My favorite restaurant is not a single place, but the comfort of Indian food that feels familiar in every bite.

A pizza becomes a large chapathi in my mind, simple and filling. Legumes remind me of soft idiyappam, gentle and nourishing. Donuts take the shape of vadai, crisp yet comforting. Taco chips and potato chips turn into memories of banana fritters and appalam, crunchy and satisfying.

When I eat Nasi Kerabu, I begin to wonder how much sugar hides within, silently building sickness like heart strain or Type 2 Diabetes.

Char Kway Teow, especially the kungfu style, reminds me of floating eggs in thick gravy—but my heart leans toward a simple bowl of Rasam, light, healing, and pure.

In every cuisine, I see reflections of what I already know—returning again and again to what feels true for the body and the soul.

“When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a lamp in a windless place.” — Bhagavad Gita
