What’s one piece of travel advice you always follow?

My golden rule of travel: Be vigilant. A holiday should create memories, not become a comedy of errors! 😂

Joke 1: Three Sisters, Two Passports Too Many!

Three sisters had a travel plan. Two sisters were travelling together, while the third was busy working. The two travellers breezed through the first immigration checkpoint without a problem. They passed the second gate too, feeling rather pleased with themselves.

Then came the third checkpoint. The immigration officer opened their passports, examined the photographs, and suddenly frowned. He looked at one passport, then the other. The photographs looked almost identical, but the names were different!

“Excuse me, ladies. Whose passports are these?”

Silence.

That was when the two sisters realised they had accidentally took the wrong passport!. Unfortunately, their third sister was nowhere near the airport to bring them the correct documents. The third sister couldn’t make it on time to give the right passport. By the time they sorted out the confusion, their flight had already taken off without them.

There they stood, watching their holiday disappear into thin air — not because of a flight delay, but because of a passport mix-up!

The moral of the story: Always check your passport before leaving home, and check it again before boarding. Sisters may share the same family resemblance, but immigration officers are not going to let you travel on your sister’s identity!

Joke 2: The Last-Minute Airport Heroine

Isa was running late for her flight. In a panic, she ordered her cab driver to drive as fast as possible to the airport.

“Please hurry! I need to catch my flight!” she pleaded.

While the driver navigated the traffic, Isa frantically used her phone to arrange her last-minute ticket. Miraculously, she managed to secure her booking, check in online, and scan her mobile boarding pass.

Everything was done before the cab even reached the airport!

She congratulated herself on her brilliant multitasking skills.

“See?

Everything is under control!” she told herself.

She jumped out of the cab, rushed to the airport, and marched towards the boarding gate with her phone ready. Then came the dreaded question.“Madam, may I see your passport?”

Isa froze.

She searched her handbag. She checked every compartment. She looked again, hoping the passport would magically appear.Nothing.She had her ticket, her boarding pass, her phone, and enough adrenaline to power the entire airport — but she had left her physical passport at home!

The flight departed on schedule. Isa remained on the ground, watching her travel plans take off without her.

Her cab driver had driven like a Formula One champion, and she had checked in like a professional traveller.

Unfortunately, she had forgotten the one document that mattered most.

The moral of the story: A mobile boarding pass can get you through check-in, but it cannot replace your passport when one is required. No matter how fast you travel, you cannot outrun your own forgetfulness!
